What is Pawsomely Healthy?

Pawsomely Healthy was created to help dog owners to choose nutritional supplement plans that are tailored to their dog’s specific needs. We believe in combining the fewest number of ingredients to achieve the greatest benefit. That is why we have developed combination supplements that can help with multiple symptoms. Our line of products has been designed to support your dog at every stage of life – from puppyhood to senior years.

Why should I give my dog supplements?

Most dog foods on the market claim that they provide your pet with all essential nutrients they need to thrive. However, every breed and every dog is unique, and what is best for one isn’t always best for another. Also, even if you are feeding your dog food that is designed to meet all their essential nutrient needs, other factors can contribute to the need for additional dog vitamins or supplements at different points in a dog’s life. Since dogs have different needs at different stages, fully understanding your dog’s nutritional requirements, their activity level, age, health problems, and any typical genetic issues will help to ensure your pup gets the kind of support that he needs at this particular moment.

How do I get my dog started?

The process is very simple. First, complete our short questionnaire here where we ask you a few questions about your dog. Then, based on your answers, we will create your dog’s unique profile and recommend products that we believe address his or her specific needs at this stage in life most effectively. Choose the product(s), sign up for a subscription, kick back and relax. We will deliver to your door free of charge and you’ll be able to pause or cancel your subscription anytime.

Having said that, we understand that subscription is a commitment. That is why we offer a one-time purchase option to the customers who would like to try any of our products first.

How early should I get my puppy started on supplements?

We don’t recommend giving supplements to healthy puppies younger than 6 months old.

What if my dog has a health condition?

Please, consult your veterinarian before starting any supplementation program – especially, if your dog has a health condition or takes medications regularly.

Can I order for multiple dogs?

Absolutely! After you complete our questionnaire and get recommendations for your first pup, just hit the “ADD ANOTHER DOG” button at the bottom of the page. It will allow you to enter information about any additional canine companions in your life. Information on each individual dog will be stored in your account. We also give you an option of adding another pup at any point in time for as long as your account remains active.

What differentiates Pawsomely Healthy products from other dog supplements?

While the majority of dog supplements available on the market focus on a single area (i.e.,joint health, allergy, skin & coat, etc.), the Pawsomely Healthy products were designed as combination supplements that help to support multiple body functions. Additionally, we have developed our line of products to adapt to every stage of your dog’s life – from puppyhood to senior years.

Where are your products made?

All our products are manufactured in the United States in a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility that is registered with FDA and certified by the National Animal Supplements Council (NASC). We use the finest ingredients and delivery systems. The machinery is operated by an expert staff of technicians and strictly overseen by doctors who ensure delivery of precise dosages. There is tight quality control on all aspects of the manufacturing operation.

What is Aquamin™?

Aquamin™ is a unique natural, multi-mineral complex, which is derived from the cytoskeleton of the red algae Lithothamnion calcareum. It contains bio-active calcium, magnesium, plus 72 trace minerals. Manufacturer of Aquamin, Marigot Limited, holds an exclusive license to harvest this particular species of red algae off the Northwest coast of Iceland.

Where do the ingredients come from?

We strive to use only the highest quality raw materials available. That is why we only source our ingredients from their native lands where they are cultivated best and have been used for hundreds of years. Green Lipped Mussels are native to New Zealand, Aquamin is harvested in the pristine waters of the North Atlantic, whereas Boswellia Serrata grows only in mountainous forests of western and central India.

How should I give these supplements to my dog?

Our supplements come in a form of chewable tablets with beef or bacon flavor. Most dogs love the smell and taste and eat them like yummy treats. We recommend giving your dogs our supplements during feeding time. Just put the tablets in a bowl with food. Our Omega-3 comes in a veggie capsule form and if your dog doesn’t eat the whole capsule, you can open it and pour the content out on top of your dog’s food.

My dog is currently taking a prescribed medication. Are your supplements safe for him to take?

You should always consult your veterinarian before starting any supplementation program – especially, if your dog has a health condition or is taking medications.

My pup doesn’t like to take pills. How can I get him to take supplements daily?

Our supplements were crafted in a form of chewable tablets with bacon or beef flavour. Usually the dogs love the smell and taste and eat the tablets like yummy treats. For dogs who are picky eaters we recommend breaking up the tablets on top of their food.

Will my dog have any reaction to the supplements? Like an upset stomach?

Our supplements were formulated with high quality and bioavailable ingredients, so any unpleasant reaction is rather unlikely. However, some dogs with sensitive stomachs might have slight stomach discomfort that should subside within the first few days. Why do supplements have a fishy smell?

Some of our supplements contain Green Lipped Mussel, a unique mollusk from New Zealand, and it has a distinct smell of shellfish. It may be a little too strong for us humans, but our dogs love it.

Can my dog have an allergic reaction to your supplements?

Our supplements contain Green Lipped Mussel, a unique mollusk from New Zealand, and our glucosamine comes from shellfish as well. Shellfish allergy is extremely rare in dogs, but if your dog already had a bad reaction to shellfish or was diagnosed with shellfish allergy, unfortunately, our supplements are not for your pup.

What happens if my dog accidentally eats more than the recommended daily dose?

Our supplements are formulated with high quality and bioavailable ingredients and each batch is tested for quality assurance during each stage of the manufacturing process. However, we can’t guarantee the safety of our supplements above the recommended serving size. In case your dog eats more than the recommended daily dose and starts developing any negative symptoms or experiencing any signs of illness, please contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency animal hospital right away.

What flavor do your supplements have?

Our Active Adult Pro and Super Senior have bacon flavor, while Growing Puppy and Stay Calm have beef flavor.

When can my puppy move to adult supplements?

Our Growing Puppy supplement is designed for puppies and young dogs 6 to 18 months of age. After that we recommend transitioning them to our Active Adult Pro. We will remind you in advance when the time comes to switch to adult supplements.

How do you define small, medium, large and giant dogs?

All dogs are divided into groups according to their weight. Small dogs – up to 25lbs; medium dogs – 25 to 45lbs; large dogs – 45 to 100lbs; giant dogs – over 100lbs.

Do I need to create an account to get your products?

If you choose our subscription model, you need to create an account in order for us to be able to send your pup’s supplements regularly based on their weight and conditions. Your recommendations will be saved under your account and you will be able to see your dog’s full profile, order history, upcoming shipment as well as change your billing or shipping information, your payment method or add another dog.

If you opt for a one-time purchase, creating an account is optional.

How do I get my dog started?

All you have to do is answer a few questions about your furry friend. Based on your answers and years of research, we will recommend vitamins and supplements for him or her. You may choose as many products from the recommended list as you feel comfortable with. Once you have an idea of what you want your pup to take, you can sign up to start a regular subscription. You can change, pause or cancel your subscription at any time.

If you are not ready to commit or would like to try any of our products first, you may always opt for a one-time purchase.

How much does the monthly subscription cost?

Monthly costs vary depending on your dog’s size and products you choose to sign up for. If you have a small dog, our standard size bottle will last your pup 3 months, while for someone with a giant breed, it will be enough for approximately 3 weeks. How do I edit my dog’s profile?

Considering most of the information we collect about your dog is permanent (name, breed, age, etc), it is stored locked in our system. You can, however, update your furry friend’s profile photo as often as you’d like. Please, do – we LOVE seeing those beautiful faces!

My dog’s health situation has changed. How do I know if the recommended supplements are still right and safe to take?

Please, notify us immediately of any changes in your dog’s health. Send us an email at [email protected] and we will work with you to make sure that your pup gets exactly what he or she needs at any given moment.

My dog now weighs more than he did when I completed the questionnaire. How do I know if your original recommendation is still right for him?

Your dog’s weight does not determine the type of supplement we recommend, however, you may need to have your pup’s daily dosage adjusted based on his or her current weight. Please, be sure to send us updated information at [email protected] and we will adjust dosage and delivery frequency, if necessary, prior to the next scheduled shipment.

Can I select supplements myself?

Our recommendations are personalized and take into consideration many factors, such as breed, age, health conditions, to name a few.

However, you may always try any of our products by selecting a one-time purchase.

Can I pause my subscription and restart at a later date?

You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months at any time by sending us an email to [email protected] at least 1 (one) week before your next package is scheduled to ship. The postponement will take effect from/for the following month.

Can I buy Pawsomely Healthy products anywhere else, e.g. Amazon, Chewy, etc?

We sell our supplements exclusively through our website.

If I have more than one dog how will I get their subscriptions?

We strive to make your journey with us smooth and enjoyable. Each of your dogs will get a separate subscription box based on their schedule which is determined by their weight.

Billing & Shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to all states within the continental United States.

How much does the shipping cost?

Shipping on ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS is ALWAYS FREE! We charge $5 flat rate shipping for one-time purchases.

When will I receive my first box?

Your order will be processed and shipped from our warehouse within 24 hours. It will take up to 7 days to deliver it to your door. Once your box is shipped, we will send you an email notification.

When should I expect to get my subsequent boxes?

We will ensure your subsequent boxes always come on time – well before your pup needs to start a new bottle.

When do you bill my card?

Your card will be billed right before the next shipment is processed. If you change your card, please update your card details promptly so that you don’t experience any interruption with delivery. You can update your card details in the Billing & Shipping section of My Account.

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discovery.

How can I change my payment method?

Orders and Returns

Do you accept returns?

Yes. Certain unopened products may be returned for credit within 14 days of the original sale. If returning merchandise, you are required to pay all return shipping charges plus a $5.00 handling and destruction fee. Due to safety regulations, this destruction fee applies whether or not the bottles have been opened. Please contact our Customer Service at [email protected] for more information.

How should I process a return?

All returns must be pre-approved by us before return documents and refund can be issued. Please contact our Customer Service at [email protected] with all questions and concerns regarding returns and refunds.

My order arrived damaged/incomplete. What should I do?

We are truly sorry that you received an incomplete/damaged order. It is our intention to provide only the highest quality products and services to our customers, and we regret that your shipment slipped past our quality measures. Please contact our Customer Service at [email protected] as soon as you can. We’ll work with you to make it right.

It may also be helpful to take a few pictures of the package and the item so that we can see exactly what happened.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. For returns made within 14 days of the initial shipment date, customers will receive a refund for the product cost less $5.00 handling and destruction fee. Due to safety regulations, the destruction fee applies whether or not the bottles have been opened. Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges. Refunds will be issued in the form of the original payment method. No refund will be issued for products that have been opened, used or damaged.

I never received my shipment. What should I do?

Most packages arrive on time, but, sometimes, the tracking may show as “delivered” and you don’t have your package. If you have a subscription with us, and your recurring order is missing, please, notify our Customer Service at [email protected] as soon as possible. Make sure to include order number in the subject line, so that we can promptly start an investigation and ship a replacement product(s) to minimize interruption in your pup’s daily health routine.

If you used our one-time purchase option, and your order is missing, please, allow for 48 hours to pass before contacting our Customer Service. In some cases, packages may say “delivered” up to 48 hours before arrival. If you still can’t find it within 48 hours of expected delivery, please, send us an email at [email protected]. Make sure to include order number in the subject line, so that we can promptly start an investigation.
